"This football season was a roller coaster, to say the least. " said Bruno "We finished with a record of 8-3 and all three losses came with either under 5 seconds remaining or in overtime."

Bruno doesn't intend to let his days in football end in high school. He plans to attend either Tulane University or Northwestern State University where he has been offered preferred walk-ons at both. He intends to major in accounting while at university.

"I started playing football when I was 5 and I have always enjoyed it. " said Bruno, "I fell in love with this game because of the process it takes to get there."

Bruno also has some impressive stats to show. He had 1504 passing yards with a completion rate of 73% over his senior year. This is also accompanied by his 527 rushing yards.

"Truthfully it has been nothing less than great playing my high school career at John Curtis. I wouldn't trade it for the world, for the memories made with my teammates and coaches will never be forgotten, " said Bruno
