The Bunkie Panthers are off to an incredible 2023 season with a record of 7-1. One of the players leading this great team is WR/CB Kyle Johnson who has pushed this team to the next level.

Johnson has been a top scorer for his team on the offense and a solid defensive player with 20 tackles and 7 pass breakups.

"I've always loved the brotherhood that comes with the sport," said Johnson, "I love the fact that this game is played by inches and it takes all 11."

Johnson is a hot prospect in the recruiting game with offers from Mississippi State, Northwestern Louisiana, and ULM. Johnson states that he intends to play at the next level and hopes to play in the NFL.

Johnson described playing at Bunkie as "... an experience like no other." "We always play for each other the way our coaches believe in our talent is incredible."
