Robert Washington is getting ready for his senior year of high school football with the East Feliciana Tigers. He and his team are coming off a 2nd round defeat to Jeanerette in the Division IV (Non-Select) playoffs. Washington is looking to improve upon this performance and make an even deeper run into the playoffs.

"Next season I hope to have a good record, make a good run in playoffs and get a championship," said Washington

Washington's goals don't end there. He intends to play at the next level stating, "I intend to play at the next level because I have the skill and mindset," He is currently undecided on which college to attend, but he is currently looking at ULM, LSU, Southern, LA Tech and many others. He plans on majoring in engineering.

Although Washington states that his team didn't accomplish their goal last season, his love for the game has not diminished at all.

"My reason for playing football is because of my grandmother," said Washington "She wanted me to play and my father played football so I went out my first year, did good, then I found love for the game I been playing my whole life. "
