Sam Taylor finishes his high school football career in style by reaching the Division II (select) finals in 2023. His team reached this position after a narrow victory over Teurlings Catholics where Taylor played a crucial role.

"Playing for Louisiana Christian Academy this past year was one of the best experiences," said Taylor, "the coaching was phenomenal and it's an amazing environment to play in."

Taylor has received offers from Blinn College and East Texas Baptist University. He plans on attending Blinn College for 2 years and then attending another college where he will major in petroleum engineering.

"I intend on playing at the next level." said Taylor, "I love the sport of football and don't want to stop for as long as I get a chance to play."

"I want to thank God for all my gifts and talents I am blessed to have. I am really thankful to my family who's supported me all the way through and thank my coaches for training me into the player I am today."
