The Sports Scouting Report Podcast With Lee Brecheen Episode 175: John Ehret High School Head Football Coach Reggie Rogers
by Jace LeJeune
For Wednesday's episode of The Sports Scouting Report Podcast With Lee Brecheen, Lee gets a Westbank representative on the show in John Ehret High School head football coach Reggie Rogers. Coach Rogers has had a great career both as a player and as a coach. As a player, Rogers played running back both at Bonnabel High School and Nicholls State. After his playing days, Rogers also was an offensive coordinator at Helen Cox High School for a couple of seasons before becoming the head coach at Bonnabel High School where he defeated program power Destrehan High School twice. After his coaching stint at Bonnabel, Rogers was the running backs coach at John Ehret High School before being named head coach last season. Despite all the circumstances last season and being a new head coach at a program, the Patriots still managed to have a stellar year winning eight games including a playoff game. Now, on today's episode, Coach Rogers talks about his background, the best players he has coached and played again, expectations for the Patriots this season, the team's tough schedule in 2021, and much more!
